JUPITERVALE

A coming-of-age tale where four young women (Abitha, Kat, Graciela, and Marie) take on challenging issues such as single parenting, parental abandonment, lost love, and finding inner strength to stand against peer pressure during their summer vacation.

 

Abitha struggles to maintain a low profile and good grades while raising her two younger sisters after their parents' abandonment. Kat flees her second home of Australia in a hurry and moves back to her birthtown of Jupitervale in hopes of escaping the father of her young daughter. Graciela faces an internal conflict of confessing to the secret love she has harbored for years, or remaining silent for the sake of her friendship. As Marie copes with the lost of her mother, she must solve the mystery of her father's unusual disappering acts and withstand the pressures of an unhealthy romance.
